he's got that "happy warrior" vibe when he's out there speaking that she seems to be bringing. Nice and happy vs. weird and angry seems to be the showdown she's setting up. That, and the entire internet was calling Republicans "weird" the last two weeks thanks to Tim Walz. He's shown a nimble grasp of the current political moment.

The calling Trump weird I think did a lot for him.

He is a gun owner who used to be in w NRA. After the Parkland school shooting he started speaking out against NRA. He is smart.

He has 100% grade from Planned Parenthood because he supports abortion rights.

He was initially fully supporting Israel and then he started to listen to protesters and credited them and said a ceasefire should happen.

Is he perfect? No. Is he trying? Yes. He is a good choice.

Imo he was def the best choice, and I initially didn't have him in like the top 5. But the more I got to know about him, his background and his communication skills I became convinced. The tldr is basically this diagram:

Pete def has top tier TV skills and is pretty moderate but def doesn't have that moderate, white guy appeal so I'd say he's 1/3.

He could do well in Iowa and New Hampshire with the whites but trying to win Black voters in South Carolina and none of it could stick, they saw right through him.

Bernie is VASTLY superior so good job. Imo being a former McKinsey consultant is automatically disqualifying for the Presidency tbh

I voted for Warren in the primary, personally, but the Progressive candidates took home more of the vote share so we good. that's half the reason they fucked us over with the primaries this year.
