Just one day after causing a stir on social media when a new selfie with Chris Brown was shared on socials, singer-songwriter and activist Kehlani is now being accused of... being in a cult? Javaughn Young-White, Kehlani’s ex and father of their 5-year-old daughter Adeya Nomi, has filed a paternity petition seeking full custody.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Young-White claims that Kehlani has been involved with a cult for the past few years, which he believes puts their daughter at risk of abuse.

He alleges that this cult leader, who faces multiple sexual assault accusations, has a controlling influence over Kehlani, leading her to believe that Young-White poses a threat to their daughter. This, he argues, has resulted in Kehlani preventing him from seeing Adeya.

Young-White’s petition suggests that Kehlani’s current environment, coupled with her busy tour schedule, is not suitable for their daughter.

Both welcomed Adeya in March 2019, but their relationship ended the following year.

It is unclear where these allegations are coming from or if there is any merit to them.
