Page shares how readers have responded to his intimate memoir, “Pageboy," and the significance of his “The Umbrella Academy” character transitioning midway through the series.
I really did not like the last season of The Umbrella Academy, but I have to watch for closure. Imo, the 1st season was the absolute best thanks to Hazel and Cha Cha.
I was just telling my friend that arguably s1 is still the best, but I thought s2 had the better pacing. Outside of Klaus's storyline, I really didn't enjoy s3 at all ): But I will watch for closure as well.
I've always loved Elliot in almost all of his films/roles. Happy for him (still need to finish the most recent U.A. season)
Something hasn't sat well with me in the last couple years and I need somebody who knows more to clarify: He's talked a LOT about the women he's been with and it's almost come off as douchey. I don't know the lore behind their relationships, but I always feel weird when male celebs talk about the women they've been with. Am I missing context?
i don't really know more but my understanding is that he got permission from anybody that he named in his memoir to publish what he wrote about them, so they were okay with him sharing. i think there's one actress he mentions sleeping with who was closeted that he doesn't name that was maybe questionable to do but i still don't think anybody knows for sure who that actress is.
anyway, i do get what you mean as i feel like he's talked about sex a lot but with his queer identity i think it's almost definitely been an important part of the journey to finding out who he is (sexuality and gender-wise) and feeling validated in it. so it feels a little different to me than when a straight man does it.
also fwiw i actually haven't heard him talk about his (ex)wife very much but i also didn't read his book so maybe he did
I assumed as much, but wasn't sure. I just heard him talk about Kate Mara, who I think he acknowledged was already in a relationship at the time and I was just like "😬😬😬, brotherrrr" lol

This is a valid point, and I was going to touch on it (because it was my assumption) but my toxic autistic trait is expressing all my thoughts at a single time instead of actually having the discussion I'm trying to broach.
