ABC is said to have made offers to Kimmel and Mulaney, both of whom passed on the opportunity. Fortunately for the Academy and its host network, there’s still plenty of time, with the Oscars not slated to air until Sunday, March 2

I'm disappointed that Mulaney won't take the gig cause he is a great host. He and Nick Kroll did a great job with the Independent Spirit Awards.

As for the other one, I hate that Jimmy Kimmel is even on TV. It cracks me up how everyone raves about how great the show is when he's on vacation and they have a guest host every week.

Apple should pay for Ana de Armas and Chris Evans to host to try and recoup some of the money they wasted on the trainwreck that was Ghosted from 2023. IDK why, that movie has stuck with me for days now for how fucking terrible it was but also how much it is stuck in my brain, but I would be down for three awkward hours of WTFery with -1000 chemistry. Ana has an Oscar nomination for that abomination that was Blonde, remember. Chris Evans has a teen choice award maybe?
