I thought I remembered this wrong cos all that's in my head is the ~sweet valley high~ bit so when it started I was like 'oh have I remembered this wrong'.

RIP to a woman who provided me hours of reading as a youth!

My mom shopped at a lot of yard sales/flea markets when we were kids, and that's where I found most of the Sweet Valley Twins/High/University books I read over the years. I was always more of an Elizabeth, but I wanted to be a Jessica. Living in PA, their lives in CA sounded so goddamn cool!! And she was right, CA is cool as hell.
