I am so scared of elevators, I inherited this fear from my mother who was super scared of elevators when I was growing up. Neither of us have had actually negative elevator related experiences though lmao it's just the idea.

I can really only manage the elevator at work because 1: I am not walking to the 11th floor and 2: If I get stuck in there I don't have to work. But I would be scared. I never enter an elevator without having first gone for a pee.

It’s Disney’s Tower of Terror ride where you’re stuck in an elevator that drops! Its been replaced with Guardians of the Galaxy though.
