Saw it on Wednesday and it was fun. I'm not the biggest fan of Deadpool and think that type of humor can get annoying quickly, but it was amusing enough. Emma Corrin's character was great, even if I expected a little more at the end there. My favorite bit was [spoiler] Gambit and Tatum's accent, the Chris Evans bit was also funny, glad I stayed for the after-credits scene. The various Wolverines were pretty cool, even if I'm not enough of a comics reader to know all of them It's pretty wild to me that they managed to make the multiverse/TVA stuff interesting at all, that whole storytelling direction wasn't my favorite in the last couple of years.

I’m not surprised it’s doing so well. There have been ads for it everywhere.

I hope this doesn’t mean that Disney/Marvel thinks it means that people are over their Marvel fatigue

I couldn't finish the second BP. Not sure why because I loved the first one.

I should try again.

Ngl, I never truly bought into Marvel fatigue. I think the last couple offerings have just been lackluster. There was bound to be a lull after Endgame but that was exacerbated by Chapek's mismanagement and the start of the pandemic. If the next couple movies are decent, people will be clamoring for more in no time.

I read spoilers because I was curious about the cameos, and the movie sounds like in terms of entertainment it is just fine, not terrible, but fine. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are going so hard with the promo it actually makes me want to watch it less.

Same. I've got Jackman/Reynolds promo fatigue. I know I'll watch it eventually but I'm just not in the mood

really enjoyed it! [Spoiler (click to open)]It was basically a love letter to Fox Marvel, and I think it’s exactly what’s needed to make the transition to MCU Xmen easier
