Super fun! I had a good time watching it, which is all that matters to me when watching a superhero film, tbh.

I didn't catch the second one, but I would say maybe just slightly under the first? In terms of rating.

Looking back on when it came out, it was during the time I wasn't going to the movies much because I couldn't afford tickets. I think I may have seen only one movie in theaters that year.

Truthfully, I barely even remember it happening and I remember when the news started coming out about Wolverine and other castings for 3, I thought, "I missed the second one?"

So a combination of money and not on my radar, not because of the plot or reviews.

I see, I see. Understandable, honestly. But I mostly stream or go sailing the high seas if I want to see something.

I usually only do that second part if I cannot find a reasonable option to stream here, which happens quite a bit in Canada for some reason.

Couldn't you stream it or are you not interested anymore?

I figured the third would tell me what I missed and if I didn't, it wasn't important. And I don't think I was wrong because I wasn't incredibly lost after the intro.

Fair. I think these movies don't require any "homework" like a lot of the other MCU movies AND TV shows.

You can just jump in. Which is a good thing.

I loved it and I enjoy Deadpool's humor. I had a giant smile on my face the entire time, and it was definitely better than 2. (Except for Yukio. I ❤️ Yukio.)

Agree that for all the violence, it was lighthearted but also had some heart and a genuine appreciation for these types of movie and what's come before.

Somehow I wasn't spoiled at all and I do think it made it better. (I'm typically a spoiler whore.)

Mid credit scene got me weirdly emotional. If you can, read the thank you list towards the end of the credits. Got some jokes in there. And the end credit was lol.

And I had to give a retroactive 20 year apology to an actor who was recast at the time, which made me happy. I was wrong {redacted actor name.}
