I only watched Eccelston and Tennant’s Doctors but I was a slut for Torchwood. I love Gugu and Russell is a problematic fave of mine. So I feel like this may be up my alley.

It's been forever since I watched s4 Torchwood but does it not exist in Whoverse anymore? Wasn't there 4 branches of them (or 3 since one of them mysteriously disappeared)? Did UNIT absorb all Torchwood branches after Jack left?

i don't think torchwood was ever really "part" of unit? it was more like a mutual understanding of one another's existence but i could be wrong
