It is very divisive - people love the chocolate/mint combo (ice cream, cake, cookies etc) or just do not like it. There does not seem to be a lot of middle ground.

I don’t like mint chocolate chip ice cream but I do love other mint/chocolate combos like Thin Mints, Andes Mints, and ironically the old Baskin Robbin’s candies in minor chocolate chip. 😂

an ice cream place in my town has an "after eight" sundae cap and I can only finish it in the summer during the highest heat, I once tried it in fall or winter and couldn't eat more than one scoop.
