The whole games industry needs reform, so I’m glad this is finally happening with voice and mo-cap actors. It sucks that gaming companies would be more likely to “make do” with AI replacements, and frankly, that many gamers would accept it as long as their release dates weren’t being pushed back.

I'm also in the camp of people who are ready to shank EA if they drag this out and it impacts Dragon Age's release but I'm always always always on the side of video game performers. all of our favourite games, especially from the last 15-20 years when studios started taking performance, mocap, and voice acting seriously, would be absolutely nothing without their talent and work.

hopefully the studios act reasonably and fairly to get this resolved in the actors' favour ASAP.

Good. Those games take so much time, detail, hours of dedication and effort & not great pay. Any gamer who doesn’t support workers doesn’t deserve to play.
