In his defense I can see people treating him like that. If you have any amount of privilege people automatically assume you're a certain type of person, and either they like you because they think you can do something for them, or they treat you like shit right off the bat.

And a lot of rich people look down other rich people who got money in what they consider a "lesser" way.
Like people who got their money from oil, coal and/or lumber (especially the old money) look down on those who got it from acting or the tech industry.
