Over eight episodes, “Presumed Innocent” followed former chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich, who was on trial for the murder of his lover and colleague Carolyn Polhemus.
I loved it tbh I spent the whole season not knowing what was going to happen.
After Rusty’s talk with them the night before the trial ended I had a wild thought that it was them but I was still shocked at the reveal and Rusty’s part in it
I haven’t watched the series at all (I don’t have AppleTV atm) but I clicked the spoiler and it’s what I guessed. I figured they wouldn’t want to be an exact copy of the film but still give a nod to the original ending.
i wasn't shocked by the reveal since that had been one of my suspects for a few episodes but especially all throughout the finale but it was still a good reveal and i was impressed by the fake outs with the two most popular guesses, they knew exactly how to lead the audience in the wrong directions, or at least guessed where they would likely go
