im so excited for this, black girls always get missed in this conversation unless they're being made fun of. one of my friends doesnt have her bio dad in jail, but the man who was a friend of her mother who was a father figure. like moonlight almost, he was a drug dealer and she saw him the day he got picked up. it changed her.
