My friend and I chatted about disaster films (off of Twisters) and neither of us like them unless there is some dystopian or sort of sci-fi element to them.

Both LOVE Armageddon (idk why either but I watched a new reacts gid yesterday and they teared up like I do+)

I liked Contagion a lot (I was reminded of it in this post - I'll mention it tomorrow.

Is The Abyss a disaster movie? We both thought we might like it.

I love the volcano movies from the 90’s specially Volcano.

Replying to an older post, but I honestly love Volcano. Is it cheesy? 100% but it's also just a good action flick. I also love that the lead woman is smart, capable, and has no romantic subplot with TLJ. She's the one who more or less saves the day and it's so rare.
