Not surprised. I go to a small theater but the fact that it was almost full at 2:10 on a Thursday afternoon made me realize, oh people want to see this.

And it was fun! People just want silly little disaster films. Even my boss texted me after he saw saying how much he enjoyed it lol

Pearl is definitely a good one, it's probably the best of the trilogy from what I'm hearing though Maxxxine sounds like it's still good. Pearl is just so unhinged and fantastic!
