Smart move for Mieville, to partner with Keanu. He's been in hiding for a few years because of him being an abuser coming to light, but people are easily enticed to forget.

I knew someone came out a few years ago saying she was manipulated during their relationship and his excuse was like... randomly being like he was in an open relationship? Idk it was weird.

I love The Scar and have a signed copy of Embassytown :( but yeah he really disappeared the past few years.

He's had the internet pretty-well scrubbed. This came back up on twitter because people were debating whether Neil Gaiman would try a similar tack.
