Could have used the black licorice ones to use the NATURE'S DARKEST SIDE effectively.

Saw it last night and I liked it enough, but it was basically a beat for beat remake of the original. Most of the scene order from the original was repeated. Even the characters had direct counterparts in many cases. It was a fun remake, but I kinda wanted an actual sequel, even if there was the slightest of hint (maybe, probably reading into it) that their [Spoiler (click to open)]professor was Jo given they somehow got an old Dorothy unit for Kate's Ph.D. project. However who goes to a state COLLEGE in the US for a Ph.D? How many colleges actually grant doctorates?

Oh, that sounds really disappointing.

I think the only real major tie besides Dorothy's cameo - and it was Dorothy V so one built after the events of the first one but with the exact same design, albeit with updated sensors was not even really an actual tie, but [Spoiler (click to open)]Bill Paxton's son playing an unrelated character in one scene just as an easter egg.

[Link to spoiler] many colleges/universities in Oklahoma (and US in general) are state schools, range between being larger and smaller research programs that grant PhDs

It was a good time. I had fun. Reminded me of the 90s summer blockbusters ive been missing.

You basically get what the trailers promise so idk what else people wanted and idc lol Probably see it again next week sometime.

Didn't realize that one of the guys is the new superman. He's tall 👀

He also had no screen presence or charisma so that was kinda worrying LMAO.

I have no faith in any of the live action supermans I'm just here for his tallness lol
