Queen Maeve was my favorite so I was pretty meh about the new season without her.
All the spoilers I've read for this season make it sound not even worth watching.
Plus Kripke's comments about y'know what makes me want to watch it even less.

I miss her too. Maybe Annie flew off to where Maeve is hiding. That would be my dream scenario. Maybe I'll actually watch season 5.

I don't think I've seen anyone praise this season but I really enjoyed it. More so than S3.

We lost a good one this finale. She was a queen and I wish they'd taken out Zoe too. But I guess they wrote themselves into a corner and there was no chance to save her idk

Also, Love Sausage getting his powers back after being de-powered by Soldier Boy at herogasm means Maeve will also have powers back and there's no way she doesn't make a cameo in S5 even if just at the finale.

Didn't Love Sausage just get injected with Compound V again? The precedent was set after Kimiko was re-injected last season. I don't think supes just suddenly get their powers back

I mean, possibly? We literally don't know, but they picked Love Sausage for some deliberate reason to capture MM, and I'm hoping it's not just because he already strangled MM once before. I'm hoping it means Soldier Boy's blast isn't permanent, Maeve gets her powers back and comes back for at least 1 episode.
And AFAIK LS is an ally to the Boys in the comics.

Idk I feel considering how the show is not subtle at all about things, they would have made it a point to say directly that power dampening from SB is temporary. Maybe they'll touch on that next season. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Maeve would be willing to take V again because she's probably miserable having to living life without her invulnerability like getting a paper cut or stubbing her toe on a piece of furniture lol
