They killed off the only interesting character that was left one the series. And it was shockingly bad, she survived Homelander just to be killed in a second.
I know Butcher is favorite on r/boys but if he was gone, I wouldn’t miss him. His entire arc this season was annoying and his move in the finale was outrageous. I don’t know how Hughie can forgive him after that. He does everything he can except focusing on Homelander.
Annie was fun. I don’t care about Frenchie and Kimiko. Love Ashley. Homelander is boring and way overstayed his welcome. He should’ve been gone along with Butcher. The smartest person in the world did everything off screen so it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be.

I'll give Frenchie a pass since they used him to prop up Kimiko's character growth. But the whole thing was kind absurd. The guys makes bombs, he's not a bio-chemist, lol.

Seems like all I’ve heard from the creator is trump this, maga that but now they are backing away from it? I’ve been hesitant to watch this new season because it really seems like they let their trump hate take the wheel and I’m so damn sick of that man and his cult. Plus I really don’t remember what was even going on in the last season

It's definitely not one to watch if you're burned out by real life events. I actually thought the finale was good but unfortunately it hit too close to home so it just left me uncomfortable and a bit depressed/unsettled
