Why is the dude from Ghosts UK hosting a sewing show?

He's filling in while Sara Pascoe is on maternity leave, according to the post.

I read that, but I only know him as an actor, not a TV host.

He was a contestant on the celebrity Christmas special a few years ago (which is how the previous host got the job too - she was a celeb contestant the Christmas before and then she hosted the following season of the show).

I've been seeing these post and I'm mildly intrigued. OP, is this show fun? Is it on Channel 4?

It’s on the bbc, and it is fun! The sewers are always creative and kind to each other, and over the seasons the different hosts have all been a joy- really thrown themselves into it which makes it all the more fun. It’s quite calm in comparison to other “best of” shows though so depends if that’s what you’re looking for? I totally recommend!

The right 3 in the final- though I’m still gutted and I’m glad Patrick seemed to be as well- no spoilers obv because I can never remember how to do a spoiler cut on my phone - but it was tight!!
