I did not care for Under The Bridge, but Lily Gladstone was definitely the standout in it. I LOVED True Detective and Kali Reis was great - really held her own with someone as seasoned as Jodi Foster. Both of these actors have a really wonderful understated gravitas about them - I’d be happy to watch them in anything.

Speaking of Lily, I found another trial for AppleTV and plan to make a movie night of Fancy Dance!

I still need to get into True Detective! I’ve always watched too much tv/movies but being unemployed has really ruined the “special-ness” of making time to watch things.

I really loved Fancy Dance, and was a bit surprised by how much lol. I read reviews and went in expecting a very "indie" film, which it is, but it was also so well done and touching, moving and contemplative. I hope you enjoy it too. Lily and Isabel are fantastic together. Their characters feel so lived in.

Oh yay! I’m pretty much going in without much info except that it was well reviewed.

It's shameful that this milestone took until 2024 to set. Really happy for both of them that they're getting the recognition
