Have you ever been denied special treatment?

Yes, because I'm a nobody, but I sure have tried. I got upgraded to premium economy on Delta once, though. I was very amused for all of 90 minutes.

It was all of one leg of a flight to Europe lmao - and not the long one, either. All of NC to JFK. I was right back in economy for the rest of the trip, but hey, it's Delta, I'm not complaining. Could have been worse.

I once got updated to a suite at a hotel, they messed up and booked me and my fam for one room for two nights instead of two rooms for one night. We felt so fancy, had a little living room, fancy chocolates on the pillows, a giant soaking tub, and free bottles of water.

As a chronic procrastinator myself who has squeaked in things just past their deadlines, the very least he could do was be apologetic and self-effacing. To be neither, and then act entitled? 🤦
