It sounds like he just wanted special treatment like he's gotten in previous years, but this year they weren't having it. Like did he even actually fill out the form they sent him? And he wanted the programming person's phone number?? I bet there's probably a crossover of people working this event who also worked the Dublin one. This SFF crowd can be pretty insular.

He just didn’t fill out a form! Everybody - EVERYBODY- had to fill out a form. He could’ve had an assistant. He spent more time emailing than would’ve taken him to fill out the form.
