by data it just sounds like word docs, pdfs, smaller excel sheets, quick photos, etc. and conversational data about projects. if im working on a project under NDA and im talking about that project on slack, that would count as project data no? like id prob share files with someone to be like hey wanna review this contract before i send out for sigs on docusign?

Title should have been *at least.
Also if you're in Slack, you're sharing files including WIPs, ideas, "Oh what comes first, Avenging Grandma or Blade II?" "AG", and that gives away information we're not supposed to be privy to yet.
