I do not like what they're doing with Rhaenyra. They are trying to make her like Daenerys rather than how Rhaenyra was described in the book, I think.

I think they're building her and Alicent up to go mad, instead of just all of a sudden turn mad like Show!Daenerys.

That's not her arc in the book though.

After the GoT disaster you think they'd want to get away from changing her arc to be more like Dany. I just don't get that choice.

But the book is all third accounts, a "history" book. It's not like the ASOIAF where we get the characters thoughts, etc.

Rhaenyra's "arc" is whatever historians say to make whoever looks bad or good.
