Coming Valentines Day 2025. Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford (replacing William Hurt) and more. This film follows Sam (Mackie) as he finds himself in the middle of an international incident.

Shira Haas is Israeli; her character in the comics is a member of the Mossad, though it might be different in the movie (“A former Black Widow, Ruth is now a high-ranking U.S. government official who has the trust of President Ross”).

I'm particularly incensed since they've mentioned Sam as Cap maybe, 4 or 5 times in the last few YEARS since the end of TFATWS????? and when they finally do come out with Cap4 it's fucking Israeli Propaganda. George Floyd was literally killed by cops that trained WITH the IDF.

I adore Sam Wilson and I'm disgusted at how they've thrown his character under the bus and turned his first solo movie into a shill for Zionist propaganda. Fuck Disney and the MCU.

it's absolutely infuriating and anti-black to the core to include a white supremacist character in his film after ignoring his character for so long. I'm honestly so done with the MCU.

makes me wonder if that's not at least part of the reason why Mackie is starting his own studio on Louisiana.. ?

I’m ignorant of a lot of history and just read up on the Sabra and Shatilla massacre. Holy FUCK, Disney can burn to the ground because this is so vile. I know the character pre-dates the massacre but they know what the fuck they’re doing going forward with this character in 2024. Sam Wilson deserves better than this.
