I'm really liking it! I'm a sucker for early 90's thrillers and that's what this feels like

I really like this show. I never saw the Harrison Ford movie and I’m trying really hard to not look up spoilers. I didn’t even know it was a book first.

I’m torn about adding a second season; most of the time, they don't live up to the quality of the first because the miniseries has a defined start, middle, and end. But if this is an anthology, with new characters, I’d be open to it. I love a good anthology as much as I love a good miniseries lol

The original film was a misogynistic mess (the You Must Remember this pod did a great episode on it), so i’ve been super reluctant to check this out. Can anyone who’s seen both comment on if they changed much of the story?

i don't think it's great, but i'm enjoying it. there are a lot of great supporting actors and it's entertaining and fun. they really like, did not even try to make Carolyn (the victim) a fully fleshed character at all though, lol, she only ever appears in sex scene flashbacks.
