It reminds me of the guys who were arrested after planning to abduct Joss Stone in her home. They had a van full of stuff. It honestly gives me nightmares

My colleague and I were talking about this in the office when the sentencing came in and I mentioned Joss Stone. That was horrible.

Some people just need to be locked up forever.

Shockingly, *shockingly*, he's been doing this for nearly 20 years: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4ngd4e7dmpo

I don't even know what can be done about how much some men hate women. It's so bleak. It's worldwide and it's an epidemic. I wish we could feel (and be) safe.

This is terrifying. Under the prison.

This has been awful. I hope he rots.

It’s been a horrifying week here, I’m so anxious and stressed about it all. There are an increase of aggressive threats to us at work, just like a slow steady horrible climb and it’s all from men that have the means to do something about it (it’s not like immediate but it hovers and there’s nothing we can do about it) it feels like the whole male population is having problems with how to leave ladies alone or witnessing it happen and doing nothing, like just let us live ☹️

This trial was terrible. I truly feel for Holly because how horrific to have to hear of all the horrible things a disgusting man wants to do to you.

This guy had previous convictions showing escalation as well. In 2006 he tried to kidnap two different women. And in 2008 he imprisoned 2 teenage girls in the back room of a shop and tied them up. They managed to escape.

It is so frustrating how predictable this pattern of escalation is - I know they can't punish people for hypothetical future crimes, but I really wish they'd take these lower level offences as cause for more warning/observation

How was he not under a prison after the first one let alone the third where he succeeded? Lucky that those girls managed to escape. And now he'll be out after a minimum of 15 years? Do the courts want someone to actually die first before they recognise the danger this man really is? Is it a law issue? Then change the law. This man has a pattern and no woman or girl will be safe if he is ever on the streets again.
