Oh, so that's why I've been getting news alerts for Rashida Jones in Kyoto, which led me to finding out yesterday I am in the Encyclopedia Britannica entry for Kyoto (in a photo, but still).
(If anyone is curious, I'm in the first photo in the Cultural Life section in the crowd - I know this because I saw the photographer when they were taking this for a NYT story and I can clearly see my study abroad friend's face - https://www.britannica.com/place/Kyoto-Japan )

Yeah, you can only find me if you know where I am, and I'm not telling that. Plus you can't even see me, you can see the side of my head and my hand covering my face and I'm out of focus. I only know because I know where I was sitting.

They also have ear bud translating things that translate as someone is speaking so that’s probably another in show excuse for why she never learned.
