Some women are so desperate to live an "Us vs The World" love story that they refuse to see what's right in front of them. Majors wouldn't have been caught dead being the +1 of a D-list actress at a Tyler Perry premiere two years ago. He's now broke and unemployed, yet still wants to be treated like a cultural monument. Of course, he appreciates her. She's the only one dumb enough to feed his ego.

I had a friend that dated a guy that everyone thought was a terrible. Instead of listening she cut everyone off that told her she shouldn't get involved with him. :( thankfully he wasn't abusive but it ended badly bc he was a cheater and didn't treat her well. :/
