Yeah as soon as I saw that long, disjointed spiel about trusting in god I was like "oh, this is why she's with him, they sound the same"

People like this never have a hint of spirituality or thoughtfulness to them - it's just "god will do everything for me" mindset that never looks deeper than their own comfort or desire, like he's their fucking life coach and not a divine being. Like I'm not religious but I feel like if your deity has all the mystique of a guy who makes a living scamming people out of money to "fix" their lives...you've probably gone astray.
