tween me is shook at how well Matthew has aged. I always thought he was the cutest of the 3 but damn, he and Josh Hartnett aged like FINE wine.

Oh this is cute and sweet. I watch a lot of random videos of different types of animals. I haven't run into his videos yet because I only use Youtube. A lot of these kinds of stories make wonderful stories or children's stories. I like videos that seem to occur naturally and am wary of videos of "Oh, I just happened upon this lost animal". I'm still of two minds about people providing enrichment for wild bears, like barrels of water, plastic balloons, etc. Are you doing it because I genuine or just for videos. What happens if these people move away and new people move into this house that is near the woods. What would happen to the bears who got used to being around that area?

Speaking of squirrels. Here's a guy who built obstacle courses for squirrels.

I became interested in Fat Bear week some months ago when I heard about the old story of Katmai Bear 435 Holly adopted a yearling cub.

When I was thinking of going to grad school in Australia, I told my dad I would really miss squirrels. He gave me a dirty look like I was crazy. I don't feed them or interfere with them, but I like watching their antics. Even if they do dig up my plants.

Me too! We had one years ago that I first noticed because she was so pregnant and then because she was dark brown with a blond tail. I named her Blondie and loved seeing her around. We have a couple of black squirrels and a grey one in our yard that don't come up to us but don't seem bothered by us either. We also have a chipmunk that lives under our deck. Animals just brighten my day.
