I'm getting so so sick of AI art everywhere. I still don't understand how it hasn't been sued to oblivion yet as it's obviously built from protected works.
Whenever I search art styles or inspo on Pinterest, there is just a slew of AI stuff now and it's so disheartening. I feel so terribly for people whose careers are going to be hugely impacted by companies no longer wanting to hire them and just use shitty AI stuff now.

My art licensing company recently licensed an AI "artist" alongside all these other real artists. It's really disheartening, especially for someone like me who's a much slower artist and can't churn a ton of pieces out. Even when I'm looking on google for reference photos, I get a ton of AI-generated "photographs" too. It's bullshit.

I think there are several cases now since AI companies have used articles, images, art, etc. without permission to train their AI systems.

It's the wild west right now because it's so unregulated but the hammer is definitely going to come down eventually.
