this is a thing that the daily wire does, picking up smaller films and then distributing it for their agenda. josé on YouTube covers this beat extensively.

I mean Angel Studios were behind Sound of Freedom so it's not that surprising.

On the one hand, I get that being an actor in a film means you don't have control over who distributes the film. Last year Jodie Sweetin's movie was sold to conservative/Christian/"traditional family values" channel GAF. She was really disappointed but said that she understood it was out of her control. She also announced she was donating all the money she earned from that movie to LGBTQ+ organizations.

Leticia, on the other hand, made a "faith based" movie and is upset that a conservative company is distributing it. Let's start comparing her faith based views and see how many of them align with this company's values.

And isn't she the one who caused a delay in production on Black Panther 2 because she didn't want to get vaccinated? Or am I mixing her up with someone else (and possibly another movie)?

There were rumours that she refused to get vaccinated and caused delay. There were many different rumours at that time but not only about her. In the end, one thing the public knew for sure because it was announced that she got injured and needed to fly home to recuperate.

We don't really know all that went down.

Remember when hearing a title with "Sound of" evoked great things? The Sound of Music, The Sound of Silence, Sound of Metal, Sound of Silver, I could go on. Now it feels like it's been usurped by faith based film makers and I don't know why.

She's an EP on this which makes me think she would have had some decision making power, but maybe it was more of a vanity title.
