David Duchovny was looking for his big break in Hollywood when he auditioned for all three of the male lead roles on Full House, but it didn’t go as planned.

i feel like i could see him as a jesse. he has swagger, but his acting is more deadpan than sitcoms require.

The only role he kinda fit was Danny, but he isn't wholesome enough.

He is funny, but in a dry almost acerbic way, so he wasn't a fit for Joey.

Jesse was the pretty bad boy single brother of Danny's sister, and David isn't that type.

He was perfect for fox Mulder.

He was still Fox Mulder on that California show , so that and how he essentially cast hot girls he wanted to make out with on the show, I didn't like it.
