Why do I keep hearing about Sing Sing being a frontrunner but I didn't know it was coming out until this post? Maybe just frontrunner for actor, but IDK. Strange rollout if they think it's a major contender.

I was going to see Longlegs but the theater here that had it as coming soon isn't actually showing it - they're showing Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot instead. Yes, it's a Christian movie.

eta you forgot the important part about who Oz Perkins is - he was this guy in Legally Blonde.

Yeah, I assume they are rolling Sing Sing out now so that it has some separation from other fall award contenders, because that's worked well in the past for other films. But they definitely have not advertised it well enough, imo.

I want to watch Longlegs, but I also don't know if I can handle how scary it is. Glad Maika Munroe is back though!

I watched The Bikeriders last night. Story and acting were good, accents were a bit goofy, and it wasn't gay enough. 3/5

Seeing that The Bikeriders is already on streaming, I am torn between wishing adult movies could be more successful at the box office and woo, movies go to streaming in 2 weeks now!

I'm seeing Longlegs tomorrow and I'm super excited. I'm not sure if I've watched anything beyond the teaser trailer, because I was worried I'd know too much, and the teaser was already enough to make me want to see it. I hope it lives up to the hype.

I'll also definitely want to fit in The Lion King since it's being released for its 30th anniversary. It's always been my favourite Disney movie so I'd love to see it in theatres.

Good chance I won't remember lol, but you should check out the imdb parents guide, or maybe even doesthedogdie, which would probably cover any of the difficult parts you may not want to see.
