Sarah McLachlan‘s music is still my fave and also was the reason I wasn’t allowed to pick the music to get ready to whenever my friends and I were getting ready to go out

Oh, I will definitely watch this. As a very young teen when Lilith Fair was held, I dreamed about going but obviously never did. This was the first kind of popular/commercial (i.e. non-children's/Disney) music I listened to and fell in love with, and it's basically remained the cornerstone of my musical tastes.

i went to lilith fair with my mom - i was 16? maybe 17, and i remember sarah’s magnificent performance, the beautiful weather at the gorge, and being surrounded by women. it felt magical.
