So exaggerated but I am not surprised. People seem to think, especially when it comes to K-Pop artists, that they are soulless puppets produced in a factory.

Don't give AI bros more ideas, but then again, they probably are already working to make that a reality.

dying @ slow news day tag lmao.

this whole "scandal" sent me on a rabbit hole of ~alleged~ smoking idols and i saw this video from blackpink's netflix movie "light up the sky" where rose is yawning and covers her mouth and you see a small smoke or vapor trail come out. it was probably just really cold but if it truly was her covering up vaping, she's a mastermind.

She shouldn’t have vaped indoors.

People contacting the embassy and asking for punishment is unhinged.

People screaming at her managers through social media due to “mismanagement” because they don’t have high quality pictures or to post on Weibo so they (the fans) can promote her comeback is also unhinged.

Fandoms are insane. I don’t know how idols cope with it all.

from what i was seeing the biggest deal was being made by army for "payback"??? idek what the fuck that means bc i try to stay away from the unhinged side of kpop but i happened to see people blaming army for the way this blew up lmfao. fandoms really are insane.

I imagine one of the boys was pictured smoking and Blinks were super normal about it. Tbh the fans of some groups are why I don’t bother with them.

it's such a mess lmao. i try to stick to just listening on spotify/watching on youtube and don't venture into twitter. it's fucking spooky. i joined some kpop subreddits but i fear that's too close to the unhinged bc that's how i have this knowledge of army payback to begin with T_T

what do you really smoke when you vape?

misato July 9 2024, 12:08:34 UTC
it looked like a nicotine vape from the brief moment on video

There is not smoke because it's not a combustion. It's vapor with a bunch of other things like propylene glycol which is technically a de-icer and glycerine.

Propylene glycol is not a de-icer, it's a base ingredient that is used in antifreeze. Ethylene glycol is the de-icing ingredient in antifreeze along with methanol.
