Having seen what I did of the movie now, I would say that the mistake was making this the origin story of the girls pre-powers as a full feature instead of it being them in the future as full superheroes because that peek was the most interesting part of the movie and it was maybe 2 minutes max at the end. The backstory for Madame was largely overloaded and honestly should have been a merch comic instead with the easter eggs after the fact.

Will The Old Guard 2 ever come out? Who knows! I don't even care if it's bad, I just want them to release it. People have seen it and confirmed it's done. Just fucking give us what we want, Netflix. The people demand more fight scenes in tiny rooms and a terrible soundtrack!

Oh I forgot to tell you prettymorning27that after you mentioned it last week, I rewatched Hamlet 2 and it wasn't as offensive as I thought it would be, it was just somewhat boring actually. Other than Rock Me Sexy Jesus, it was very forgettable.
