Do you guys think the prosecution will bring the case again? I think they might not. Idk though maybe they will because the case got so high profile that they might need to look like they're seeing it through?

The commonwealth just announced they intend to try her again, it’s nuts to me that they never searched the house he was found dead in front of

That's so dumb.

Prosecution needs to reinvestigate and then maybe decide if they should try her again. With their current case/evidence, retrying the case is a waste of time and money.

I 100% agree supposedly the Feds are investigating the police here so maybe it won’t happen

From the article:
The defense alleged that the lead investigator in the case, Massachusetts state Trooper Michael Proctor, manipulated evidence, failed to properly investigate O’Keefe’s death and sent a series of slurs and vulgar messages about Read to friends, family and supervisors.

In his closing argument last Tuesday, Norfolk County Assistant District Attorney Adam Lally acknowledged that Proctor’s texts were “indefensible” but said they had no bearing on the integrity of the agency’s investigation.

I caught bits and pieces of this, so I have no informed opinion. But I would not be at all surprised if he was killed by one of their own, and they set her up.

This might be a setup? By the police? I don't know this case, but this just makes me chuckle because these bastards WOULD do something like that.

It seems like either a set up or incompetence on steroids, if you get a chance to watch the troopers “expert” testimony about what her cars black box shows do so, he has an AA degree and he completed a “course” on car accidents, it was jarring

i havent heard of this case until this was posted but the associated press said this "Two expert witnesses hired by the U.S. Department of Justice during an investigation of police handling of the case testified for the defense, providing a scientific analysis for their conclusion that O’Keefe’s injuries and the physical evidence didn’t sync with the prosecution theory that he was struck and injured by Read’s 7,000-pound (3,175-kilogram) vehicle"

two expert witnesses that were originally hired by the government but ended up testifying for the defense is NOT a good look for the government's prosecution case.

What in the HELL?!? Their own experts ended up being used to testify for the defence? WOW. This case sounds like such a mess. Seriously bad look for the prosecution.
