Thank you for sharing! Will def check it out. I know his choice and reason to enlist can be frowned upon but from what I know, he did it from a legit place and from what his family has said, it would honestly be interesting to hear his thoughts looking back if he wasn’t murdered from “friendly” fire.

Robert talks about his journal entries, Pat wrote about why he chose to enlist. I think he came from a legitimate place as well. He seems like he was a very kind and intelligent man. It's a shame that his legacy has been twisted in such a way. From what I've heard from all the podcasts and other things I've read, it seems like Pat would hate it.

I highly suggest any Behind the Bastards episode. I love this podcast so much lol. The ones on Rush Limbaugh are great, imo.
