Hulu moved the S3 premiere of The Bear to 9pm ET/6pm PT so you can begin binge watching your favorite sexually competent dirtbag line cook now! I will post another discussion thread after the weekend so that everyone has time to watch the whole season.

I just finished season 1 this morning and now season 3 is out. Wow

This show is a technical marvel, but some of the characters need work. Maybe it will improve in season 2 (no spoilers please).

I'm still annoyed that they're dropping all episodes at once, part of the joy of this type of show is dissecting it weekly and going insane discussing it (miss u much succession).

Also was kind of taken aback by how high Matty Matheson's billing order was in the second ep intro. I don't know that I care about Fak enough to want that much focus on him.

huh? every season of the bear has dropped in its entirety, it has never been a weekly release

I know, but I still wish they changed it up after the success of S1 to a weekly release

i need streaming companies to actually do one ep a week less. i don't want a reversion to cable tv practices. if i wanted that, i would watch cable tv.

I've watched four episodes, and Carmy is just pissing me off at this point omg. It's not really compelling anymore, just tedious to sit through.

it saved us from a second, unearned Ted Lasso sweep but I am still just generally annoyed that I had to spend years hearing that Bill Hader kept losing in the directing category bc Barry “was too dark” only for a straight up drama to snatch all the awards that last season.
