Feels like too many people want to swing back to "what happens in other people's marriages/relationships is their business and no one should ever intervene, no matter how violent & abusive."

Same with all of the "Parents' Rights" demonization of public schools. It's ultimately about evading mandated reporting.

I’ve seen this mentality lately in tiktok comments and it’s been a really weird time. I understand people wanting to mind their own business, but the people being discussed are content creator couples who have done something objectively wrong (physical/mental abuse, cheating, etc) and they still have defenders. “So he cheated on his wife who just had their child, it doesn’t make him an all-around bad person!” I mean, yeah… but, like, we don’t need to praise that shit either? So strange.
