Maestro the movie was messy but I thought Cary was better than Emma in Poor Things. Cary’s accent work compared to Emma’s…there’s a world of difference lol

Carey was definitely the standout in Maestro. Bradley's performance was so...Oscar baity ugh lol

I am a Bradley defender, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that he lost best actor for a star is born to Rami but he was doing way too much in Maestro lmao

completely agree lol, he definitely should have won for a Star is Born which is a fantastic and very moving performance.
I hope he can win for a role like that because he definitely wouldn't have deserved to win for Maestro haha

Wish it were Oscar and Anne, Carey is talented but her acting is so dull and uninspired to me. She hits all the marks but I find her performances completely soulless.

Yet ANOTHER Oscar project I won’t be willing to watch lmao

Love how the casting and executive team couldn’t be bothered to cast more actors of color, but am I shocked when they defended their friend for gleefully bragging about ~allegedly~ raping a Black woman?
