The key part of that word is 'fic'; you can do what you want with figures that aren't real. When you write speculatively about people who already exist you're in immediate danger of blending what you've made up with what's actually happening ...

I've come around to the Syd/Carmy ship mostly to spite the people who are adamantly against it because of sus reasons. But I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't happen.

They better destroy Claire/Carmy tho because that was just sooooo bad and I don't see how they could save it...
