there's a thread making the rounds on twitter that's trying to claim that she owes him three more albums with her under some contract that she was able to work around during the lawsuit to make witness and smile, but i'm not sure that there's any truth to it. i'm more inclined to believe she's just desperate enough to lower herself to work with him again, "friendship" with kesha be damned.

Yeah I saw that tweet, sounds like a delulu katycat who read Dr. Luke's claims that he lost out on money for her 4th, 5th, and 6th albums and just made shit up claiming oh, because he specifically mentions 3 albums that must mean she owed him 3 more albums, this despite zero proof of any sort of contract.

yup exactly, they're purposefully misinterpreting Luke saying he lost income from not working on Katy’s subsequent albums post-lawsuit, but there was no contract and he never says there was one. he just claims he lost theoretical income since he presumably would have worked on those albums if Kesha didn’t come forward.

lol i just kinda posted about this. he has never said anything but is extremely private generally and i think hasn’t worked with him since which has felt deliberate since they were so famously making bank together and seemed to rly get along professionally… but it’s always been possible that ultimately they’re two control freaks who got tired of sharing the reins. i will be (unreasonably, parasocially) disappointed if they have a co-credit on one of katy’s songs but as i said i recognize this is not fully justifiable on my part

max martin is probably paranoid about being called out on it if he does, because in the book "the song machine" it sounded like a bunch of the people around dr. luke were well aware of his behavior. he used to brag about his practice of getting women super drunk and assaulting them.
