Oh man I enjoyed Spaceballs. One of the greatest stoner movies ever. It was hilarious. How do they ever emulate that now?

Also I would really appreciate it if there are older tongue in cheek satirical comedies (mainly the ones with the legendary Leslie Neilsen) calling for remakes like Policeman Squad or The Police Academy, Airplane! etc. Several more other movies in that same caliber came to mind. This type of comedy takes literalness to the top level of comedy of all the time and poke fun at our everyday life in extreme absurdity and other ridiculousness we have to deal on the daily. It’s so relatable on the whole other level. What happened to it? Bring them all back. We need it so bad lol
