He probably did. It's a sweaty ass campy movie. Nicole Kidman pees on Efron after he gets stung by a jellyfish. That type of movie.

That dress matches Nicole's skin tone a little too well reminds. It reminds me of few days ago when I saw a woman running and she had on an outfit that matched her skin tone so well that from far away I thought she was running naked.

His jaw :( I know he said he broke something hence the surgery and altered appearance. It reminds me of how Simon Cowell's face completely changed with that one procedure. Sigh.

yeh I know someone who worked with him and apparently the injury was pretty fucked. If he has had cosmetic work done, I can see how the change in his face from the injury might have made him hyperconscious of his looks and this making him want to get work done.
