never been a big fan of the mcu but if i had the chance to play pretend in a silly goofy movie and make a million dollars off it hell yeah i’d take the chance to star in one. actors who do that and then want to complain afterwards are the wooooorst. cry into your piles of money about it.

I wonder if it’s just less fun for them now with all the green and blue screens etc. Like yeah send me to a cool location and let me film a bunch of fun goofy shit but standing in front of a screen talking to tennis balls all day? Pass.

Even just as a viewer I miss practical effects.

oh yeah that’s like the one part i could sympathize with as being frustrating or difficult for actors but then again i think nowadays you know what you’re signing up for with a comic book gig (lots of green screen, not a great script, purely about making as much money as possible) so that sympathy only goes so far. 🤷‍♀️ but yes i def miss the days of practical effects too!

Yeah I think about the original Jurassic Park films and how much fun those must’ve been to film.
